University and Career Guidance
KCCIS considers career education and university guidance an integral part of a student's education. Career exploration and subsequent university application involve personal reflections and informed decision-making which we believe our students, as growing teenagers, have the ability to take control of their future, with the support of their parents, and the guidance of their teachers and myself, their school counselor. We expect our students to take ownership of their university applications.
We will guide students through to distinguish what they are good at (proficiency), what they like (interests), and what they would like to do in life (values). With the cooperation of parents, we hope to create a supportive environment that fosters effective communication with students about higher education planning.
